He is survived by: his wife Mary Mathewson of Bluffton; his son Robert Mathewson (Cherie) of Delphos; his daughter-in-law Kim Mathewson of Marysville; his grandchildren, Krista Mathewson of Marysville and Tanner Mathewson (Danielle) of Lima; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Silas Mitchell and Knoxley Mathewson; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Epley of Ada and George Deringer of Worthington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
