It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keith Brauen in Bluffton, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Keith Brauen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Brauen and Cleo Brauen (Hauenstein); his stepmother Margaret Brauen (Miller); his wife Esther Brauen; and his sister Eileen Duitscher.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Crouse (Leland) of Ada, Julie Mackey (John) of Bluffton, Shirley Brauen of Bluffton, Merry Augsburger (Gene) of Pandora, Bill Brauen (Joan Graber) of Foley, David Brauen (Kathy Diller) of Bluffton, Chris Hochstetler (John) of Bluffton, Don Brauen (Jodi Basinger) of Bluffton, Betty Augsburger (Gary) of Pandora and Janet Brauen of Troy; his grandchildren, Michael Crouse (Nikki), Randy Crouse (Stacy), Cathy Long (Chad), Laura Hartzler (Greg), Amy Shadbolt (Jeff), John Mackey (Claire), Katie Archer (Jamie), Andrew Augsburger (Ashley), Benjamin Brauen, Mary Brauen, Sarah Ransom (Shaun), Sam Brauen (Janet), Mark Brauen (Rhonda), Brent Hochstetler, Tyler Hochstetler (Jade), Andrea Strayer (Craig), Ryan Brauen (Sara), Jenny Kaple (Mike), Rachel Davis (Nathan), Jason Augsburger (Brielle), Joshua Augsburger (Alyssa), Emily Augsburger and Jacob Meckstroth (Jessica); his brother Stanton Elwood Brauen (JoAnn Fett) of Puyallup; and his brother-in-law Stan Duitscher of Pearland, Texas.. He is also survived by forty-four great-grandchildren and two on the way and one great-great grandson.
Masks will be mandatory at the visitation and funeral service at the church.
