She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Stauffer and Mildred Stauffer (Badertscher); her husband Wilbur "Mike" Mikkelsen; her sister Geraldine "Gerry" Diller; and her brother-in-law Ralph Diller. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mennointe Memorial Home, Benevolent Fund.
