She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Hawkins and Caroline Hawkins (Snook); and her sister Jeanne Pepper. She is survived by: her husband Don Overmyer of Bluffton; her children, Melissa Pottenger (Rick) of Painesville, Ohio and Don Overmyer II (Jose Gonzalez) of Palm Springs, California; her grandchildren, Matthew Pottenger (Stacie) of Savannah and Elizabeth Anspach (Jonathan) of Frederick; and her great grandchild Flora Joanne Anspach.
