She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Adams and Ruby Adams; her former spouse Donnell Otis Cox; her son Charles Cox (Linda) of Ottawa Ohio; her sisters, Patricia Carter-Horstman and Carolyn Rable Patton of Convoy Ohio; and her husband Robert Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Cox (Judy), Patricia Piper (Jim) of Maumee Ohio, Dean Cox of Lima Ohio and Randy Cox (Becky) of Bluffton Ohio. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
