He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kiene and Gertrude Kiene (Stechshulte); his former spouse Catheryn Kiene (Diller); his son Gregory Kiene; and his siblings, Richard Kiene, Charles Kiene, Jean Beckman, Rosemary Latta, Agnes Friedel and Cecilia Webster.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Kiene (Valerie) of Pandora and Joe Kiene (Deb) of Bluffton; his grandchildren, Michael Kiene (Stacey), Katie Kiene (Abigail Metcalfe), Kash Kiene (Jenny), Kelsea Kiene (Harold Walters) and Terra Kiene; and his great grandchildren, Jase, Jett, Decker and Rocco Kiene.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
