He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Grismore and Clara Grismore (Geiger); his son Clare Grismore; his stepdaughter Barbara Cherry; his grandchildren, Tony Grismore and Emily Grismore Meyers; and his siblings, Maurice Grismore, Wayne Grismore, Mildred Ruggley and Helen Grismore.
He is survived by: his daughter Charlotte Grismore (Bill) of Huntertown; his wife Jane Grismore (Bridges); his children, David Grismore (Terri) of Pandora, Thomas Cherry (Christine) of Columbus Grove and Christine Capper (Mark) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and his son-in-law Kent Cherry (Rachel) of Pandora. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and over forty great-grandchildren.
