He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Goertz and Elisabeth Goertz (Kuhn); and his brothers, Frederick Goertz (Ursula), John Goertz and Heinrich Goertz.
He is survived by: his wife Herlinde (Mueller) of Bluffton; his daughters, Heidi Rupp (Jonathan) of Findlay and Corinna Blodgett (Keith) of Milford; his grandchildren, Nicole, Nathaniel (Addy), Daniel, Samuel, Gregory, Ezekiel, Carl (Taylor) and Megan; his sister Alice Thompson (Roy); and his sister-in-law Suzanne Goertz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the College First Church of God (1100 N Main St, Findlay, OH 45840). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
