She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Young and Dorothy Young (Alstaetter); her husband Richard Hauenstein; and her siblings, Robert Young, Margret Core, Janet Matter, Lou Cookson and Peggy Bowyer.

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Hauenstein (Teri) of Bluffton, Jeff Hauenstein (Laura) of Findlay and Todd Hauenstein (Lori) of Napoleon; her grandchildren, Adam Hauenstein (Desiree), Alyssa Lehman (Eric), Robert DeVaul (Aimee Cochran) and Joseph DeVaul (Elizabeth LaPrad); and her great grandchildren, Lennon Hauenstein, Wyatt, Hadley, Oliver Lehman, Dravin, Carolyna, Mason and Renzo DeVaul.
