She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Weber and Estella Weber (Snyder); her husband Richard Simmons; and her sisters, Rita Erb, Betty Litwiller and Evelyn Horst.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Simmons (Mary Ellen) of Akron, Pennsylvania, Pat Shaner (Rick) of Ketchikan, Kathy Umburger (Kory) of Harrisburg and Karen Keeler (Randy) of Bluffton, Ohio. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
