She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter M. Hochstettler and Luella M. Hochstettler (Steiner); her husband Donald D. Spar; her son Richard Spar; and her siblings, Robert J. Hochstettler, Francis L. Hochstettler, Harold D. Hochstettler and Treva M. Sousley.
She is survived by: her daughter Emily Domurad (John) of Boston, Massachusetts; her daughter-in-law Jody Spar of Tucson, Arizona; her granddaughter Carrie L. Klug of Columbus; her great grandchildren, Madison and Matt; and her nieces and nephews, Jayne Caskie (Denny) of Bluffton, Karyl Jean Crawford (Dwain) of Bluffton, Chuck Sousley of Bluffton, Norman Hochstettler (Sandy) of Harrod, Gay Larsen (Jay) of Utah, Pamela Balls (Reed) of Utah, David Hochstettler (Patti) of Utah and Darrel Hochstettler (Debbie) of Arizona.
