With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elfrieda Martha Ramseyer of Bluffton, Ohio, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Elfrieda Martha departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elfrieda Martha may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elfrieda Martha leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Carl J. Landes and Martha Graber Landes. She is survived by: her husband Dick of Bluffton; her children, Marty Barnett (John) of Boyd, Texas and Rick (Beth) of Cumberland, Maine; and her granddaughter Julia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made on Elfrieda's behalf to scholarships benefiting students at the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University Foundation, Campus Box 8000, Normal, Illinois 61790-8000.
