She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Garmatter and Sylvia Garmatter (Basinger); her husband Clifford Houts; her daughter Nancy K. Stewart; her grandsons, David and Doug Stewart; and her siblings, Mark Garmatter, Violet Moser and Ruth Strahm.
She is survived by: her son Anthony Houts (Janet) of Dayton, Nevada; her grandchildren, Kimberly Stewart and Brad Stewart; her great grandchildren, Josh, Justin and Sarah Stewart; and her great great grandchild Vanessa Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary.
