He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Klingler (Stratton); and his siblings, Dorothy Klingler, Gladys Cupples, Jean Powell and Jim Scott.

He is survived by: his father Columbus Klingler; his wife Nancy Klingler (Mericle) of Bluffton; and his children, Katherine Ramsey (Kurt) of Powell, OH, Kerri Kloeppel (Ryan) of Columbus Grove and Kent Klingler (Tara) of Worthington, OH. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northwest Ohio.
