She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Painter and Mamie Painter (Reed); her husband George D. Hefner; her siblings, Reed Painter (Helen), Wilbur "Bud" Painter (Helen), Clyde Painter, John Painter, Marguerite Taylor and Pauline Richard (Jim); and her brother-in-law Miles Hefner.
She is survived by: her children, John Hefner (Vicki) and Carlyn Hefner; her grandchildren, Amanda Pollard (Lance), Alesia Hefner, Micah Hefner (Gwen), Jennifer Griffin (Shan) and Jon McKanna (Kasey); her great grandchildren, Lainey Pollard, Hanley Pollard, Lincoln Pollard, Cash Pollard of Gunner Pollard, M. J, Overstreet, Jace Rawlings, Kingston Rawlings, Xander Hefner, Milly Hefner, Domino Hefner, Noah Griffin, Titus Griffin, Molly McKanna and Cooper McKanna; and her sister Betty Hefner.
