He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ribble and Emma Ribble (Lilly); his grandparents, Edward and Alta Ribble (Eppley); his siblings, Glenn Ribble and Carolyn "Sue" Sitton; and his father-in-law Edwin Kennel.
He is survived by: his wife Trenda Sue Ribble (Kennel); his daughters, Angela K. Houle and Debra A. Clontz (Jack Jr.); his grandchildren, Ethan Clontz (Elizabeth) and Avery Clontz; his mother-in-law Ruth Kennel; his siblings-in-law, Martha Ribble, Nelson Sitton, Ed Bowers and Tim Woodward; his half-brother Robert Karnes; and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Rosenberger, Ginger Williams, Pam White, Sara Bowers, Sally Woodruff and Rebecca Woodward. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
