He is survived by: his wife Virginia Johnson of Blue Creek, Ohio; his son James Johnson of Blue Creek, Ohio; and his brothers, Wayne Johnson of Blue Creek, Ohio and Edison Johnson of Wamsley, Ohio. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
