He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Hobbs and Ola Thacker Hobbs; his wife Mabel Ruth Hobbs; and his brothers, Lowell Thomas Hobbs, Billy Donald Hobbs and Lloyd Douglas Hobbs.
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Hickman (Brian); his grandchildren, Brittany Williams, Christopher Hickman, Madison Hickman and Morgan Hickman; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Williams, Vivian Williams and Scarlet Williams; and his siblings, Tommy Hobbs Jr. (Sheila), Phillip Hobbs (Lisa), Phyllis Green (Jim), Jean Hobbs, Norma Stacy, Rosemary Vozey (Walter), Diane Ferrier and Linda Duncan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
