We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2024, at the age of 84, Robert J. Bender of Blue Ash, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bender and Dorothy Bender; and his brother Dan Bender. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bender (Staub); his children, Darby Hachey (Daren), Jeff Bender (Christine), Eric Bender (Kelley), Laney Bender-Slack (Jay) and Jason Bender (Amie); his grandchildren, Samantha, Sarah, Allison, Nicholas, Skylar, Bowie, Carolyn, Michael, Liz, Emily, Megan, Duncan, Jude and Lily; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Wren and James; his siblings, Thomas Bender (Donna), Nancy Jewell (Gary) and Debby Fogelman (Chip); his sister-in-law Grace Bender; and his pet Simba. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
