He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Chaffee and Nancy Chaffee (Tusing); his son Denny; and his siblings, Edwin, Dorsey Chaffee, Leona Hart, Arlene Kirkwood, Wilda Kirk and Wanda Bonham.
He is survived by: his spouse Andrea Warner; his children, Roger Chaffee (Lori) of Republic, Ronald Chaffee II of Kentucky, John Miller of Tenn, Connie Enders (Bob) of Bloomville, Nancy Williams of Tiffin, Jill Linhorst (Ben) of Tiffin, Becky Garcia (Ruben) of Tiffin, Anita Gilliland (Alan) of Bellevue and Numerous; and his sister-in-law Jane Chaffee of Tiffin. He is also survived by great- grandchildren.
