He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Garn and Louise Garn (Mowery); his son-in-law Keith Scouten; his sister-in-law Sue Garn; and his sisters, Pat Fausey (Frank), Audrey Fedeles (Andy) and Nancy Garn.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Rollins (Fred) of Tiffin, Connie Weyant (Randy) of Winter Haven, FL, Jane Scouten of Bloomville and R. Steve Garn (Monette) of Port Clinton; his siblings, Paul Garn, Ned Garn (Judy), J. David Garn (Phyllis) and Carol Jean Robinett (Larry); and his brother-in-law John Heins (Sandi). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren.
