He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Gabel and Ida Gabel (Hammer); his brother Cletus Joseph; and his pet Pumpkin. He is survived by: his wife Beverly (Seitz) of Bloomville; his son Michael Robert Dale (Ila Marie); his grandchildren, Jenna Marie Anne, Kiana Jaide, LeeAnna Starr, Malachi Charles Robert, Nashton William and Oakley Matthew; his great grandchildren, Sophia Abigail and Madison Paige; his sister Shirley Rose Miller (Jerry) of Fremont; his nieces and nephews, Richard "Rick" Joseph Miller of Dublin, Lynn Marie Baranowski (Richard) of Perrysburg, Lawrence James Miller (Joyce) of Tallmadge, Randal Lee Miller (Kathy) of Cleveland, Holly Kay Miller of Irving, Stephen Michael Gabel (Virginia) of Fremont, Sharon Hatlay (Michael) of Clyde and Mark Gabel of Fremont; and his brothers, Kenneth Lewis, Clement William and Lawrence James. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews and Spade, his cat companion.
The family is asking that memorials be made to the Melmore United Methodist Church, the Bloomville EMS or to the Seneca County Humane Society.
