He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton D. Beard and Geraldine B. Beard (Hall); and his sister Candace Beard. He is survived by: his wife Sheila A. Scherger; his children, Julie Beard of Treasure Island, FL and Patrick Beard of Bloomville; his siblings, Roger Beard (Lou Ann) of Bowling Green and Linda Musson (Bill) of Pemberville; and his pet Cash. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
