She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie "Ruth" Phillips Butcher and Lloyd Butcher; her son Detective Mark Holden; and her siblings, Lloyd Butcher Jr., Robert, Ronald, Philip "Buckshot" Butcher, Judy Cantrell and Jenny Moore.
She is survived by: her brother Phillip David; her former husband George A. Holden; her children, Deborah Carter (Chris), William Holden (Brenna), Alan Sheidler (Sara), Randy Sheidler (Christina) and Larry Miller (Jan); her daughter-in-law Shelley Holden; and her sisters, Zella Jean Williams, Janet Veith and Sherry Oxley (Kermit).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local animal shelter in Phyllis's honor.
