It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Dawn Sheidler of Bloomville, Ohio, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie "Ruth" Phillips Butcher and Lloyd Butcher; her son Detective Mark Holden; and her siblings, Lloyd Butcher Jr., Robert, Ronald, Philip "Buckshot" Butcher, Judy Cantrell and Jenny Moore.
She is survived by: her brother Phillip David; her former husband George A. Holden; her children, Deborah Carter (Chris), William Holden (Brenna), Alan Sheidler (Sara), Randy Sheidler (Christina) and Larry Miller (Jan); her daughter-in-law Shelley Holden; and her sisters, Zella Jean Williams, Janet Veith and Sherry Oxley (Kermit).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home (3085 OH-19, Bloomville, OH 44818). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (4628 Township Rd 173, Bloomville, OH 44818).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local animal shelter in Phyllis's honor.
