He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Allgyre and Martha Allgyre (Corfman); his children, Charles, Marshall Allgyre and Lola Brockway; and his siblings, Richard, Earl Allgyre, Wanda Enders and Dorothy Kelbley.

He is survived by: his wife Xenith Allgyre (Hemminger); his children, James Allgyre, Roger Allgyre, Mark Allgyre, Barbara and Diana Cook (Brian); and his sisters, Sarah Perkins and Mary Hollingsworth. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
