He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Laeng; his sons, Nicholas Wertz (Jennifer) of Alvada and Marty Wertz of Perrysburg; his grandchildren, Zachary, Emmaline and Sydney Wertz; and his sister Judy May (Don) of Sycamore.
