He was predeceased by: his father Frank Leonard; and his son Robert "Bob" Leonard Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Susie" Leonard (Jamison); his son Douglas Leonard; his brother Frank Leonard (Jean); his grandchildren, Christy Devore, Cody Leonard and Cory Leonard; his great grandchildren, Garrett, Jacob and Brantley; and his daughter-in-law Glenda Leonard.
