He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kansala and Anna Tapocik Kansala; and his sister Barbara Gauker. He is survived by: his wife Anna Lucille Leach Kansala; his daughters, Karen Gibson (Walter), Michele Shannon and Lori Borham (Gary); and his grandchildren, Tucker Shannon, Dr. Ashten Gibson Ebersbacher (Charles), Tacie Shannon, Justin Gibson, Taylor Borham, Tyler Borham and Olivia Borham.
