He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nicholas and Marguerite Straney (McNamara); his child Lynn Erin Straney; and his wife Charlene O. (Mercer). He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph, James, Charles, Paul, Abigail Denning, Sr. (John), F. Bonnie Straney, Rosarri St (Vincent) and Therese Straney; his children, Lawrence Joseph (Susan) of Bloomingdale, Robert Christopher (Donna) of Wintersville, Patty Sue Cooper (Paul) of Newark and Mary Michele Booth (Nurse Extraordinaire) of Pittsburg, PA.; his grandchildren, Jamie Sue, Kim, Jessica Cooper, Meghan (Manist), Jennifer, John Lawrence Booth, Annie Runco (Tim) and Aaron Straney (Christina); and his great grandchildren, Zane Manist, Nathan Hawkins, Shannon McGowan, Conlan McCune, Skylee, Jada, Samantha Moore, Caydan Craig, Elle Fithen and Winthrop Lawrence Straney.
