He is survived by: his wife Alice Louise Bennett (Cain); his children, Luther McCarty (Susan), Veronica Brown (Danny), Rob Bennett (Traci), Victor McCarty (Caroline), Jim Bennett (Leatha), Tonya Fleak (Donnie) and Scott Bennett (Brandy); and his siblings, Jane Seitz, Jim Bennett (Kathy), Helen Short (JD) and Brenda Tyree (Verlon). He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
