He is survived by: his spouse Fairy Steinbeck; his children, Karen Shaw (Mike) and Jason Steinbeck (Lori); his grandchildren, Nathan Shaw (Katie), Erik Shaw (Devon), Heather Hamilton (Beau), Scott Steinbeck, Timothy Smithson (Brittney), Ashley Smithson, Bethany Hoffman (Mike) and Kaitlyn Johnson (Logan); his great grandchildren, Carson Hall, Elizabeth Shaw, Connor Shaw, Eleanor Hamilton, Kegan Smithson, Bailey Smithson, Bradlee Smithson, Bodee Smithson, Lena Hoffman, Lucas Smithson and George Johnson; his sister Juana Smith (Kenneth); his siblings-in-law, Jean Steinbeck and Ed Huffman (Peggy); and his nieces and nephews, Jaclyn Schmedt (Jeremiah), Angela Beltran, Logan Schmedt, Clinton Smith and Vince Huffman (Beth).
