It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth (Sams) Toohey (Blanchester, Ohio), born in Lebanon, Ohio, who passed away on June 2, 2019, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick Toohey; her daughter Norma Heel; her son-in-law Michael Hemmer; and her siblings, Mary Williams, Doris Dowler, Dorothy Cochran and Oscar Sams.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Toohey (Shirley), Susan Hemmer and Christine Williams (Eddie); her grandchildren, Eric Ervin, Casey Greene (Wayne), Christopher Toohey (Stephanie), Tonya Talone (Mike), Brenda Ayers (Danny), Brian Florea and Byrnie Florea (Chris); her great grandchildren, Logan Burke (Erik), Jake Schrichten, Dalton Florea (Bridgette), Austin Florea, Ryan Ervin, Owen Thompson and Ethan Yuling Thompson; her great great grandchildren, Eli Burke, Yvonna Thompson and Kirsten; and her sister Sandy Sams.
