She was predeceased by: her husband Rancel W. Richards I; and her siblings, Thelma Mae, Joan Laverne, Forest Earl, Raymond Eugene and Carl Arthur.
She is survived by: her parents, Forest Hawthorne and Carcinnia Hawthorne; her children, Forest Ray Richards (Jean), Rancel W. Richards II (late Shirley Mae), Ranetta Bhuvasorakul (Joe) and Celia Mae Ward (Jim); and her sibling Alberta Lavone Trochelman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
