He was predeceased by: his parents, Hence Rice and Emma Rice (Jones); his wife Dorothy Jean Rice; and his grandchildren, Adam Rice, Dorothy Estell and Mike Maines.
He is survived by: his children, Joann Hines, Brenda, Elbert Rice (Debbie), Linda Knisley (Albert), Steve Rice (Barb), Jerry Rice (Jan), Charlene Estell (Richard), Sandra Mason (Scott) and Mark Rice (Julie Robinson); and his sister Dorothy Miracle. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
