She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Dennis and Mamie Dennis; her former husband Donald Shivener; her husband James D. Hornsby; and her siblings, Ed Dennis, Donald Powell, Colleen Russ and Earline McConnell.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Dennis Shivener (Marsha), Dale Shivener (Amy), Denise Smith (Doug), Dina Boitnott (Donald) and Diana Hornsby; and her siblings, Roy Brunner, Mae Barrett, Thelma Glenn, Brenda Powell and Beverly Hammond. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
