He was predeceased by: his father Elzie Jack Blanton; his granddaughter Bethany; and his brother-in-law Jim Wallin. He is survived by: his wife Chessie; his mother Gladys Blanton; his daughters, Wendy Pyfrin (Jeff) and Miranda Kidd (Mark); his adoptive children, Simon, Joshua and Kara; his grandchildren, Elius, Marri and Maggie; and his sister Teresa Wallin.
