She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mountjoy and Freida Mountjoy; her husband Elmer Kerns; her daughter Gloria Helton; her grandson Kenny Mann; and her siblings, Robert, Albert, Earl, Carl, Lena, Opal and Eva.
She is survived by: her children, David Kerns (Zoanna) and Daisy Mann (Melvin). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
