Morris of Blacklick, Ohio, born in Gallipolis, Ohio, who passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father John D.; her husband Richard E. Morris; her grandson James R. Morris; and her brother Daniel K. Chapman. She is survived by : her children, Gregg E. Morris (Kimberly) of Blacklick, John R. Morris (Barbara) of Chillicothe and Jane Morris-Maynard (Thurlin) of The Plains; her grandchildren, Brian Morris (Timberlee), Christopher Morris, Amy Morris Yosick (Todd), Dawn Morris Christman (Caleb), Dustin Morris (Jadlyn), Melissa Morris Kilbarger, Jason Morris, Brody Morris, Jordan Morris (Yvette), T. Brent Maynard and Michelle Maynard Thomas (Delante); her brother J. D. Chapman (Billie) of Juliette, Georgia; and her close friends, Cathy Morris, Robyn Cecil Morris and Melissa Hysell Maynard. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Glouster Church of Christ (32 Fairlawn Ave, Glouster, OH 45732). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
