He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Walter and Alvena Elizabeth Hostettler (Miller); his wife Nancy L. Pipes; and his sister Betty Schmid. He is survived by: his children, Douglas W. Hostettler (Brenda) of Glenmont and Dewann E. Weltmer (Steve) of Canton; his grandchildren, Melody Reed (Patrick) of Millersburg, Miranda Steiner (Zack) of Big Prairie, Michelle Hostettler of Toledo, Kathryn Weltmer of Canton, Elizabeth Weltmer of Canton and Grant Weltmer of Canton; and his brother Roger Hostettler (Charolet) of New Pittsburgh.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 4469l.
