We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2023, at the age of 61, Gary D. Mitchell of Big Prairie, Ohio, born in San Luis Obispo, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mitchell and Doris Olean Mitchell (Jackson); and his uncle Kenny Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Jo Morris; his children, DJ Justice (Jessica) of Nashville, Lance Mitchell of Big Prairie and Ashley Mitchell of Big Prairie; his grandchildren, Kyli, Piper, Alissa, Jett Justice, Jaden, Mylie, Mackenzey and Michael Mitchell; his brothers, Danny Mitchell (Gerry), Earl Mitchell, Craig Mitchell (Melissa), Joe Mitchell (Yulia) and Kenny Mitchell (Katie); and his stepmother Beverly Mitchell. He is also survived by his family, especially loved by his children and grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
