She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Eugene and Mary Lillian Cordell; her husband Richard Howard Patterson; her great grandchild Mirrical Cordell; and her siblings, Melvin Cordell, Larry Guthrie, Charlotte Ford and Libby Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert E. Cordell, Jr. (Lori Coen) of Vinton, Kenneth Michael Cordell of Columbus and Lynn Michelle Cordell of Bidwell, Ohio; her grandchildren, Brad Conkins, Caitlin Cordell, Shanika Cordell (Seth Jeffers), Jericho Kanniard, Kyle Coen, Dante Fooce, Kaleb Cordell, Keyan Cordell, Skylynn Fooce and Kara Cordell; and her brothers, Raymond Guthrie (Sonja) of Junction City and Thomas "Eddie" Guthrie of Clarksville, Tennessee.. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
