He was predeceased by: his parents, Edsel Johnson and Betty Johnson (Criner); his grandson Austin Gage Elliott; his brother Gary Lee Johnson; and his mother-in-law Eula Dummitt.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Johnson; his children, Jeremy Johnson (Hilary), Tiffany Nelson (J. D.), Carey Moomey (Tommy), Brittany Elliott (Rick Wilkinson) and Wendy Gratz; his grandchildren, Brooke, Bryce, Bryleigh, Bayleigh Johnson, Carson Matney, Cole Nelson, Sara Moomey (Kyle Patridge), Amiley and Dean McMahon; and his siblings, Bobby Johnson, Donna Smith of Oak Hill and Linda Brown of Oak Hill. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
