He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hersman and Clara Hersman (Flora); his wife Diana Jane Russell Hersman; his grandson Keith Edward Parcell; and his siblings, Aster Hersman, Mary Hersman, Violet Taylor, Opal Bailey and Cecil Hersman.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Parcell (Herman "Ed") of Patriot, Tammy Hersman of Bidwell, Bobby Hersman (Donna) of Gallipolis and Ryan Hersman (Denise) of Bidwell; his grandchildren, Justin Hersman (Erica) of Gallipolis, Robert Hersman (Katlin) of Gallipolis, Brittany Perry (Tony) of Gallipolis, Timothy Hersman of Bidwell, Ethan Hersman of Bidwell, Michael Parcell of Patriot and Keith Hersman of Bidwell; his great grandchildren, Hunter DeLancey of Gallipolis, Jake DeLancey of Gallipolis, Tyson Hersman of Gallipolis, Cooper Hersman of Gallipolis, Bella Hersman of Gallipolis, Brystal Hersman of Gallipolis and Bently Hersman of Gallipolis; his siblings, Donnie Hersman of Port Isabel, Paul Hersman of Vinton and Martha McComas (Hayward) of Vinton; and his sister-in-law Naomi Hersman of Doylestown, Ohio..
