With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John F. Wamsley of Bidwell, Ohio, born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, who passed away on March 7, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil V. Wamsley and Wilma Wamsley (Grinstead); his wife Joan Wamsley; and his siblings, Phyllis Larkins, Betty Louden and Paul Wamsley.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Diddle of Bidwell, Robin Wamsley of Bidwell, Amy Edwards (Stacy) of Bidwell, Don Wamsley (Stephanie) of Bidwell and Rich Fuller (Gabby) of Point Pleasant; his grandchildren, Jon Diddle (Cortney), Kayla Evans (Jeremy), Latosha Meadows, Josh Wamsley (Crystal Summers), Britini Campbell, Jesse Edwards (Macy), Jake Edwards (Bailey Bennett), Chase Williams, Gracee Wamsley, Alora, Alaina, Autumn and Mariah Fuller; his great grandchildren, Faith, Lilly, Jyles Diddle, Melody Meadows, Olivia Evans, Aiden, Hailee, Brooklynn, Taylor Wamsley, JoJo Summers, Izabella, Trevor Campbell, Maddie Edwards and Dawson Williams; and his siblings, Nancy Preston of Gallipolis, Carl Wamsley (Sharen) of Gallipolis and Dick Wamsley (Charlotte) of Racine, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Those in attendance are asked to follow the CDC guidelines of social distancing and are required to follow the Ohio mandate of wearing face masks.
