He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Smith and Lenora Smith (Guthrie); his daughter Linda Dawn Smith; his granddaughter Alexis Robinson; and his siblings, Williard, Leo Smith, Julia Mickey and Shirley McDaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Promolia Stroud Smith; and his children, Debra Smith, Ralph Smith, Sandra Riedel and Jeff Smith. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
