It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip Edward Kniffin (Beverly, Ohio), who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Vinton and Bernice Kniffin (Reed) of Guilford, CT.; his former wife Rhae Downs; his children, Bernard, Wayne Kniffin and Wanda Needham; his siblings, Henry, George, Earl, Peter Kniffin and Ardel Whitaker; and his wife Edith Kniffin (Smith).
He is survived by: his brother David Kniffin (Marilyn); his children, Philip E Kniffin Jr. "Butch", Tara Polan (Kermit), Brian Kniffin (Tami), Tami Pietrowicz (Mike), Brenda Kniffin (David Whitaker) and Todd Kniffin; and his stepchildren, Carolyn Smith (Jeff) and William Handlowich. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Palmer Township Community Building.
In lieu of flowers donations could be made to St. Jude, one of Phil's favorite charities.
