He was predeceased by: his parents, William Everett Sampson and Roberta Morey Sampson; his wife Goldie V. Burchett Sampson; his great grandchild Ava Cole Nichols; and his brothers, Lloyd and Lyle Sampson.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Sampson (Sue) of Beverly and Mark Sampson (Nannette) of Beverly; his grandchildren, Jordan Sampson, Ryan Sampson, Marcus Sampson (Barbara) and Traci Nichols (David); and his great grandchildren, Everett Sampson, Ian Sampson, Aceynn Nichols and Dia Nichols.
