He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gildow and Wilma Grace "Kim" Hayes Gildow; and his siblings, Mary Ann Gildow, Virginia Dianne Gildow, Charles "Doc" Shilling, John Shilling, Dick Shilling, Wayne Shilling, Bill Shilling, Robert Shilling and Tom Gildow.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. Glidden Gildow; his children, Jamie D. Gessel (Richard) of Macksburg, Christina M. Giammona of Macksburg, Joanie D. Gildow of Macksburg and Robert L. "Bobby" Giammona of Macksburg; his grandchildren, Jennifer Rose Gessel, Robbie Giammona, Romeo Giammona, Riley Giammona and Larissa Giammona; his sister Janet L. Stover (Patrick) of Waterford; his sisters-in-law, Dottie Shilling and Patty Shilling; and his pet Gogo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
