He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John J. Nye and Lucille Nye (Cramer); his wife Mary Ann (Schade); his brother Tom Nye; his sons, Bob Nye (Laressa Grundy) of Fremont and Bill Nye (Kim) of Curtice; his sister Marcia Nye of Findlay; his girlfriend Sue Hamilton of Bettsville; his granddaughters, Kendra Nye, Brenna Nye, Regan Nye and Adrienne Nye; and his great grandchild Nina Sharp.
