He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ann; his son Phillip Cress; his stepson David Yoshimoto; and his sister Pat Rhoads. He is survived by: his children, Christine Cosentino (Jack) of Urbana, Jerry Cress (Andrea) of Bettsville and Danny Ray Cress; his stepchildren, Danny Yoshimoto of Tiffin and Mike Yoshimoto (Danielle) of Fremont; his grandchildren, Joshua Cosentino (Buffie), Jacob Cress, Aaron Cosentino and Paige Powers (Matthew); and his brothers, Herman Cress of Hillsboro, Curtis Cress of Fremont and Raymond Cress of Kentucky.
